How is numerical waste data pulled from around TRACE?
The numerical waste total pulls data from 3 separate modules in TRACE, waste, production and graphics modules.
Data from the waste module includes all of the venue waste, public waste and your own created waste. Essentially, anything that goes into your bins. This will need to be accounted for by you in the waste module, via the weight of materials, litres of your bins or it can be calculated using venue averages. This is your recycling total, waste total and your food waste total.
Your final waste total will also include any materials in the production and graphics modules, marked as either supplier removed for recycling or supplier removed for disposal.
It is good to note that only the ‘supplier removed..’ will be automatically accounted for in your numerical waste total. All other waste will need to be accounted for in the waste module to be counted.
